  1. She is lovely! Also, you did quite a good job for being your first series of head swaps. I'm sure you will improve a lot over time! What program did you use?

I did a quick one using the body of Christine Roth, I hope you like it!

She is quite tricky to work with, because of her long wavy blonde hair.

    Cheers!

    1. That's nice of you! Considering that you're one of the most talented guy I know in this area!

I use Photoshop, but I'm not very good at it.

Would you be OK to help me, with your knowledge? Can I ask you a few questions?

      And great job, as always.

The most important thing is to have the right pictures, the more alike the better. They must have similar lighting conditions (hardness, direction) It also helps if they both have good resolution.

As a rule of thumb I reduce the opacity of the head’s layer and try to match the position of the eyes of the original body using Free Transform and Flip Horizontal. Sometimes I replace part of the original head with parts of the background using Clone Stamp Tool and Patch Tool, but this is generally way later in the process.

Generally the head and the body will have different settings of brightness, hue, saturation… To make them more alike you can modify them in Image > Adjustments, but the changes done here are permanent.
This is why I use Adjustment Layer, Clipping mask, and Layer Mask
You can find very useful information about these topic here:
      https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/adjustment-fill-layers.html
      https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop-elements/using/clipping-masks.html
      https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop-elements/using/layer-masks.html

I mostly use these Adjustment Layers: Brightness/Contrast, Hue/Saturation, Color Balance, Vibrance.

Sometimes I adjust the head to make it match with the body or vice versa. But there is the case when I need to modify both parts. Imagine it as if they were in the opposite ends of a long road, and making them more alike brings them closer to the middle.

When I’m satisfied with the adjustments I generally Merge each part (body and head) with their respective Adjustment Layers. Be careful and place the Layer Mask you might been using on the head layer on a new layer while you merge them, so you can put it back on the merged result. This is useful in case you need to have access to peripheral parts of the head layer (hair, neck, collarbones)

      General advice:
      - Try to use female bodybuilders with short hair, or that have the same hairstyle and color than the new head.
      - If possible, use bodies and heads that are on simple backgrounds: flat colors, regular textures.
      - Explore the posibilites of the Layer Mask and work on it with different levels of brush hardness and opacity to make the transition between head and body less abrupt.

  3. Hello Ozzy!

In the past I have mentioned my love for the "Snow White" type of stories, where a muscular woman, at the tail end of her prime, finds to her a horror a much younger competitor who has developed a physique far superior than hers.

I have seen this theme treated in depth only in two stories by NHLcoolers, "Obsession: The Story of Cara" and "The Amazon Throne" but I wish it was more common.

This is why I made a new picture to illustrate the source of this topic, the tale of Snow White, but not from edited photographs, but from line art.
Since I can’t draw I used pre-existing illustrations, Snow White’s body is from one of yours, the Queen’s body comes from a stock images site

and the faces from printable coloring pictures.

Here is the result, I hope you enjoy it!

    1. I'm really glad you liked it, I was a bit worried that you may be upset about one of your illustrations being modified.

I have a similar idea that mixes "Alice in Wonderland" with another of your pictures, I hope you will like that one too!

  4. Hello, Ozzy!

I have been editing some pictures, I hope you like them!

An unusual growth spurt, instead of getting taller she becomes incredibly muscular!

Julia Winter and AnnaSophia Robb as rival teen bodybuilders, Julia smiles knowing that her physique is superior.

And last but not least, a picture inspired by the episode of The Simpsons "Strong Arms of the Ma”, and the portrayal of Ruth Powers as a steroid-fueled bodybuilder. That opens the possibility of her daughter Laura following her footsteps, and even surpassing her:

By the way, Deviantart user RedSilverArtist made an fun illustration related to this topic:

    4. Hello Ozzy, it has been a while… Happy 2018!

Recently I discovered that some of the images I posted here had been deleted. Sadly I lost the original files, so they are gone for good.

This inspired me to edit two new images, I hope you enjoy them!
